A week of events, actions and staged exhibits in the Tent Gallery, Edinburgh, that drew upon research about food and social engagement - Monday 30th November - Friday 5th December 2009.
Research included: Traditional Scottish foods and recipes; Scottish Folklore; the production of food; land-use; disconnection to nature; contemporary eating habits; social aspects of food; artists who have worked with food as a theme or a material; social art projects that have involved food); cooking as an artform; experimental eating experiences; consumerism and consumption, and the marketing of food products.
